Role synopsis
The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will ensure that all equipment and facilities under the purview of the
FM&S department meets and/or exceeds the requirements of the user (BPTT Staff & Contractors) by managing and coordinating day-to-day maintenance operations and assuming responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of
Properties under the direction of the Property Manager.

Key accountabilities
1. Procurement of maintenance services for all FM&S sites locations includes the conceptualization, development and implementation of procurement strategies, white papers and project plans - 10%
2. Supplier performance management maintenance - 20%
3. Cost management and financial reporting for Office Projects Services - 10%
4. Management of the delivery of maintenance services at all FM&S sites. 30%
5. HSSE leadership and compliance (ISO 140001, OSH regulations, OMS) as they apply to facilities maintenance services - 30%

Essential Education A degree in engineering, Facilities Management or other related field.

Essential experience and job requirements
1. 3+ years experience working in a facilities maintenance environment
2. Prior experience in the procurement of goods and service with experience in contract negotiations
3. Extensive knowledge and applicability of Health and Safety practices with emphasis on implementation and monitoring (minimum two years)
4. Technical certification from a recognized facilities management body, e.g. IFMA or BOMA

Desirable criteria & qualifications
1. Project management and financial management experience
2. Ability to read and interpret MEP and architectural drawings
