The HR Assistant will provide clerical support to the Human Resource Department inclusive of typing a variety of reports, memorandum and documents, processing applications for leave.To maintain an archive of ex-employee files, ensuring that all exit documents are filed and that files are properly closed
To maintain an accurate online record of leave eligibility and process all applications for leave.
To prepare monthly HR reports on employee attendance, punctuality and prepare letters as needed
To assist with the recruitment of staff by liaising with employment agencies, selecting suitable candidates from the database for consideration and preparing advertisements and other notifications to fill vacancies.
To maintain and update the HR Department's filing system including confidential employee files and general department files
Five GCE or CXC O'Level passes (including Math & English)
and/or
A Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management
Minimum 2 years progressive experience in human resource management
Computer Literacy skills particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
Principles and practices of human resources administration including recruitment and selection, training and development.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees
