GRAPHIC ARTIST
CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS DIVISION

JOB SUMMARY:
The Graphic Artist performs skilled and complex art work and designs
layouts utilizing various graphic arts techniques.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:-
• Designs and executes computer art work for marketing, communication, and information purposes. This may involve proofing, illustration
and layout for the approval of the Communications Director.
• Consults with the rest of the Division to determine their
marketing/communication needs (e.g. slides, publications, computer
presentations, animation etc.)
• Determines format, approach and content which will be most
eective, meet objectives, and remain within budget restrictions.
• Operates and maintains necessary graphic equipment such as
graphics computer and peripherals, process camera, film processor,
slide mounter, videotape equipment, or other equipment as required.
• Coordinates other related services such as typesetting, photo lab
work, and video editing in such a manner as to ensure completion of
projects within established time frames.
• Estimates costs, budget and provides billing information for projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:-
• A Bachelor's degree in Art, or related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge
and abilities can be acquired as necessary.
• Extensive experience in computer graphic arts
