About ACCA Certification

The ACCA is the largest and fastest-growing international accountancy body, with 320,000 students and members in 160 countries. ACCA has an extensive network of over 70 staffed offices and other centres around the world.

ACCA's reputation is grounded in almost 100 years of providing accounting and financial qualifications. Long traditions are complemented by modern thinking, backed by a predominantly young, dynamic membership.

Changing times, changing requirements

This professional certification continues to evolve to meet the challenges of the new global economy thus ensuring participants the highest level of qualification and employers the knowledge that qualified candidates represent the best trained in the field.

It is not uncommon for students who take longer than the 3-year average to complete the program to face new requirements. This is good, as the student would be well prepared for the challenges of the real-world immediately upon completition.

ACCA offers four core qualifications:

  1. A technician level qualification provides a comprehensive introduction to accountancy
  2. A professional qualification enabling members to reach the highest level in accountancy
  3. A Bachelor of Science in Applied Accounting which is centred on the needs of employers for practical, professional accounting
  4. An MBA designed to broaden business understanding and enhance strategic decision making

This certification is dedicated to lifelong learning of it's members at all stages of their careers.
