Job Summary:

The Computer Technician provides assistance and technical support for software, hardware and network problem resolution, resource monitoring and the installation and support of specialized applications. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, configures and upgrades operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages
• Installs, assembles and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals
• Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems
• Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment
• Engaging in evaluating, testing and training of new hardware and software applications

Minimum Requirements:

• A+ and Network+ certification; MCSE an asset
• 5 years of general computer installation, maintenance and repair experience
• Experienced in Crystal Reports (1+ year), or other database management software will be an asset
